MSB Launches Training Portal

The new web portal, called MSB Virtual Academy, will make claims adjusters, underwriters, agents and customer service representatives more productive by allowing them to receive training on MSB’s products when it’s convenient for them – 24 hours a day/365 days a year. This will complement the existing training alternatives offered by MSB – seminar, classroom, and interactive webinar training.
The web-based training will include comprehensive instruction and interactive challenge questions followed by a certification test at the completion of the course. The planned underwriting training included in MSB Virtual Academy for 2010 will be Introduction to Residential Component Technology (RCT), Introduction to RCT High Value, and an Introduction to the MSB commercial estimating system BVS. Planned claims training included in 2010 will be Introduction to IntegriClaim EyeQ Basic – MSB’s newest claims estimating technology. In addition, MSB will use the portal to offer training in 2010 on the fundamentals of building construction, starting with a general introduction on the topic.
