Salil Donde

CEO

Salil Donde serves as MSB’s Chief Executive Officer.

Most recently, Mr. Donde was the President of Fiserv's Life and Financial Software and Solutions business and President of AMS-Rackley/Allenbrook (Vertafore). He has also held senior leadership roles at Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company, among others.

Mr. Donde received a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India, an M.S. degree from Clemson University in Clemson, SC and an M.B.A. from Columbia University in New York City.

Peter M. Wells

President

Peter M. Wells is President and a 25-year veteran of MSB, responsible for managing the company's business strategy, product development and co-sourcing services for the benefit of the property and casualty insurance, building construction, real estate, banking and government sectors.

Prior to employment at MSB, Mr. Wells served in various management capacities at Software Shop Systems, McGraw-Hill Information Systems, DRI, ACORD and AMICA Mutual Insurance Company. He is a regular presenter at various insurance conferences and forums across North America and is the author of the book "Insuring to Value" and its sequel, "Insuring to Value: Meeting a Critical Need," as well as numerous articles, industry standards and best practices texts.

Mr. Wells is a graduate of Boston University.

John Afdem

Corporate Financial Officer

John Afdem serves as the Chief Financial Officer of MSB. He is responsible for Financial Reporting and internal controls for all of the US Products Group of companies of the MDA Corporation. Additionally, he serves as an Officer/Director and acts as the Export Control Compliance Officer for MDA Corp.  

Prior to joining MDA/MSB, Mr. Afdem served in Senior and Executive management roles in companies such as Bank of America Corporation, Pacific Capital Corp and Valley Capital Corporation.

Mr. Afdem received his B.S. degree in Accountancy at Arizona State University and has held CPA Certifications in Arizona and Nevada. He began his career with KPMG and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Arun Baheti

Vice President, Government & Institutional Markets

Arun Baheti is Vice President of Government and Institutional Markets at Marshall & Swift. In his current role, he leads the company's efforts in the financial services, appraisal and government sectors. He also manages regulatory affairs for MSB.

Prior to joining Marshall & Swift, Mr. Baheti worked for private sector, government, and non-profit firms. His background includes management of IT, telecommunications and data center infrastructure, compliance and legislation, and management of political organizations and electoral campaigns.

Mr. Baheti graduated magna cum laude from Macalester College and earned his JD at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is also a member of the California Bar.

Robert Blythe

Senior Vice President, Sales

Robert Blythe is the Senior Vice President of Sales for MSB. He is responsible for managing all of the sales efforts for MSB's Underwriting, Claims, Retail and Government business segments.

Before joining MSB, Mr. Blythe was a Vice President at the Brady Corporation in Milwaukee, WI, managing their Teklynx America's division. Prior to that, he served as Director of Implementation Services at Red Prairie Corporation and was Manager of sales and support for the mortgage product division of Metavante.

A graduate of Appalachian State University, Mr. Blythe holds a BSBA with a major in Commercial Banking and Finance.

Steven Brewer

Vice President, Residential Underwriting Solutions Group

Steven Brewer is Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at MSB.

Mr. Brewer leads the overall implementation and planning for business strategy at MSB and aligns all MSB’s data assets, technologies, vision and innovation with the needs of MSB’s insurance markets.

Prior to this role, Mr. Brewer managed MSB’s Book of Business Management Operations, aligning systems and technology necessary to support Insurance-to-Value programs for carriers. Additionally, he managed product development and systems implementation for MSB software, Web-hosting and associated technology.

Before joining MSB, Mr. Brewer spent four years as a consultant with Deloitte in business process reengineering, custom development and systems integration. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University with a minor in Business.

Jennifer Fisher, Esq.

Corporate Attorney

Jennifer E. Fisher is General Counsel for MSB, responsible for setting MSB's overall philosophy and strategy regarding legal matters.

Ms. Fisher is a member of the American Bar Association and currently serves as a Fellow in the Business Law Section and is Vice Chair of the Corporate Counsel Committee's Subcommittee on Relations between Inside and Outside Counsel. She is a member of the California Bar.

Ms. Fisher graduated Harvard University cum laude in Government and The University of Chicago Law School.  Prior to joining MSB, she practiced corporate & securities law as an associate at Mayer Brown LLP, one of the world's largest law firms.

Geoff Garlow

Senior Vice President, Operations

Geoff Garlow is Senior Vice President, Operations for MSB and MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates Ltd.'s (MDA) U.S. Operations.

Mr. Garlow oversees IT Operations, Product Development, Product Fulfillment, Production Support, Infrastructure, Network Operations Center, Data Centers and facilities for both the Lending Solutions and Insurance Solutions groups.

Prior to joining MSB, Mr. Garlow spent seven years with Clear Channel Communications, establishing their data center operations and expanding their network footprint for several of their subsidiary companies. Mr. Garlow completed a technical course of study in networking and computer engineering, holds multiple IT certifications, and is currently completing a degree in management at Western Governors University.  He is also a past participant in the Harvard Program on Negotiation.

Jonathan Kost

Senior Vice President, Claims Services and Commercial Solutions

As Senior Vice President of Claims Services, Jon Kost leads MSB in the design, development and optimum utilization of claims estimating and management technology and services commercial lines underwriting products as well.

Mr. Kost is a published author of articles in numerous trade magazines, including Best's Review, Insurance & Technology, Claims Guides, National Underwriter and Canadian Insurance. He is also a frequently requested speaker on topics involving the use of claims data and technology to optimize the property insurance claims value chain and improve the property underwriting process.

A graduate of Texas A&M and a member of both the PLRB Regional Affiliates Advisory Board and National Association of Catastrophe Adjusters, Mr. Kost also has multiple patents pending for claims technology innovations.

Lucretia Payne

Human Resources Director

Lucretia Payne is Human Resources Director for MSB. In this role, she oversees all aspects of MSB’s human resource programs including recruitment, employment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, performance management and training and development.

Ms. Payne has held several positions throughout her fifteen-year tenure with MSB including training and payroll specialist as well as generalist roles. Prior to joining MSB, she worked for several years in the employee benefits and workers’ compensation areas at the University of California, Los Angeles, of which she is also an alumna. Ms. Payne holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the Society for Human Resources Management.
